Your wedding cakes are a special highlight on your wedding day and reflection of you. It is very important to us that you are satisfied with the quality and one-of-a-kind design. For this very reason we limit the number of orders we accept on any given date. This assures you of specialized attention to your cakes and the delivery and setup.

Ordering:
Your order may be placed up to one year prior to your wedding date provided you have contracted a venue already. A phone call one week prior to your wedding to confirm the details of your order is essential.

Delivery:
Delivery and setup is done approximately two hours prior to the reception. The cake tables should be set up and ready to receive the wedding cakes. A delivery and setup charge will be assessed for this service.

Deposits & Payments:
A deposit of one third (1/3) of the total cost of the cakes and the signed contract are required to hold your date. The balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding date.

Design Changes:
No design changes may be made within 30 days of the wedding date.

Cake Adornments:
All ribbon, top pieces, etc. furnished by the client are to be brought by appointment to A Wedding Cake Moment 7 days prior to the wedding. Fresh flowers should be brought to A Wedding Cake Moment the day before the wedding. Karin will arrange up to three-dozen flowers at no additional charge to be placed on the cake. Fresh flowers provided by a florist should be at the venue prior to our arrival.

Assurance:
Cakes placed outdoors or in non-temperature controlled venues are not guaranteed due to natural conditions beyond our control such as temperature, critters, wind, etc.

Rental Equipment:
Silver pedestals are available for rental and should be returned to A Wedding Cake Moment prior to Wednesday evening after the wedding date for return of deposit check. This check is to be held for replacement costs of any equipment that is not returned by the deadline or is damaged.

Cancellation:
Cancellation of your order will forfeit all monies received up to time of cancellation. No credit for forfeited payments will be applied toward future orders.
